Abstract <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n Jos\u00e9 Granados<\/strong>, in \u201cThe First Fruits of the Flesh and the First\nFruits of the Spirit: The Mystery of the Ascension,\u201d reflects on the\nrelationship between the Resurrection and the Ascension in light of the meaning\nof time. Granados shows how the Ascension safeguards the link between the\nearthly life of Jesus and the time of the Church. \u201cWith the Ascension,\nsomething new follows the events of Easter: the glorified flesh of Jesus\nassociates the body of the Church to himself, and, through this body, the\nentire cosmos. . . .
