LIPNIAK <br>Pontifical Faculty of Theology in Wroclaw, Poland<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">DOI: 10.48224\/COM-210-2020-78<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"> <strong>Abstract<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"> The aim of this article was to present the sacrament of priesthood in the theology of the Coptic Orthodox Church. The article reminds that the sacrament of the priesthood was founded by Christ, who chose twelve from his disciples and called them apostles. This sacrament is reserved exclusively for men and has got three degrees: the five-degree diaconate, presbyterate and episcopate. The mystery of the priesthood is related to receiving hierarchical gifts through the laying on of hands by the bishop, with the consent and prayerful vigilance of the People of God. It is an indelible grace and the sacrament cannot be repeated. The article emphasizes that in the mysteries founded by Christ, the Holy Spirit heals and transforms those who receive Him. That is why the Orthodox Coptic Church calls the mysteries celebrated the sacraments of faith. Receiving them presupposes human faith and at the same time strengthens and nourishes it. The Coptic Church believes that Jesus Christ himself is in the mysteries celebrated by him.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"> <strong>Key words<\/strong>: priesthood, sacraments, presbyterate, diaconate, episcopate, priestly identity, Orthodox Coptic Church. Communio 30(2020)3, s. 78-108 <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Streszczenie <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Celem niniejszego artyku\u0142u by\u0142o ukazanie sakramentu kap\u0142a\u0144stwa w teologii Ortodoksyjnego Ko\u015bcio\u0142a Koptyjskiego. Artyku\u0142 przypomina, \u017ce sakrament kap\u0142a\u0144stwa zosta\u0142 ustanowiony przez Chrystusa, kt\u00f3ry z grona swoich uczni\u00f3w wybra\u0142 dwunastu, kt\u00f3rych nazwa\u0142 Aposto\u0142ami. Sakrament ten zarezerwowany jest wy\u0142\u0105cznie dla m\u0119\u017cczyzn i posiada trzy stopnie: pi\u0119ciostopniowy diakonat, prezbiterat i episkopat. Misterium kap\u0142a\u0144stwa zwi\u0105zane jest z otrzymaniem dar\u00f3w hierarchicznych poprzez na\u0142o\u017cenie r\u0105k przez biskupa, przy zgodzie i modlitewnym czuwaniu Ludu Bo\u017cego. Jest to \u0142aska niezatarta i sakrament nie mo\u017ce by\u0107 powtarzany. W artykule podkre\u015bla si\u0119, \u017ce w misteriach ustanowionych przez Chrystusa Duch \u015awi\u0119ty uzdrawia i przemienia tych, kt\u00f3rzy Go przyjmuj\u0105. Dlatego Ortodoksyjny Ko\u015bci\u00f3\u0142 Koptyjski nazywa sprawowane misteria sakramentami wiary. Ich przyjmowanie zak\u0142ada wiar\u0119 cz\u0142owieka, a jednocze\u015bnie j\u0105 umacnia i karmi.
