If the priest has lost his traditional leadership in our society, it is certainly due in part to the emancipation of the conscience rising in the wake of the influence of modernity. This influence has entailed a vertiginous decline in a sense of belonging to the Church-institution which those baptized ought to have. But all of the Church\u2019s problems do not depend only on cultural changes. We must recognize that the calling into question of the ordained ministry is also due to certain inadequate theological models. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Keywords<\/strong>: Priestly ministry, ecclesial communion, service, identity, priesthood<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"> <strong>Streszczenie <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Celem niniejszego artyku\u0142u by\u0142o ukazanie s\u0142u\u017cebno\u015bci pos\u0142ugi kap\u0142a\u0144skiej. Wsp\u00f3\u0142cze\u015bnie kap\u0142an straci\u0142 swoj\u0105 tradycyjn\u0105, przyw\u00f3dcz\u0105 rol\u0119 w spo\u0142ecze\u0144stwie, wynika to z pewno\u015bci\u0105, po cz\u0119\u015bci, z wyzwolenia sumienia, kt\u00f3re jest wynikiem wp\u0142ywu nowoczesno\u015bci. Ten wp\u0142yw poci\u0105gn\u0105\u0142 za sob\u0105 zawrotny spadek poczucia przynale\u017cno\u015bci do instytucji Ko\u015bcio\u0142a, przynale\u017cno\u015bci, kt\u00f3r\u0105 powinni posiada\u0107 w sobie ludzie ochrzczeni. Wszystkie problemy wsp\u00f3\u0142czesnego Ko\u015bcio\u0142a nie zale\u017c\u0105 tylko od zmian kulturowych.
