Abstract<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n The article presents a discussion on the tasks and possibilities of\ntheology, which in 1922-1925 was undertaken by Karl Barth and Erik Peterson.\nFrom different perspectives, they deal with the relationship of theology\ntowards God’s Word. This is an issue that also remains relevant in our time and\nrequires confirmation. Peterson rightly points out the need to include in\ntheology the dogma, which is fundamentally rooted in the incarnation of the\nLogos, whose Church is an extension. The dogma provides certainty to\ntheological statements. Barth’s lecture, especially the proposal to develop\ndialectical theology, can be read as an incentive to give theology a\ndoxological dimension. Both theologians rightly emphasize that theology needs\nan anthropological starting point for that to be met with due interest.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
